I've waited to wright a review for a couple of months. I wanted to give the winch (3000 XT) a GOOD work out. This is one BAD A## winch. I have pulled out several trucks with it. And i don't mean little trucks. Pull my Big Bear 27" Swamp lites out of some places you can't believe. I've pulled over 3 tree's. About 2" in dia. ( it was the only tree's i could reach) So if there is a positive their has to be a neg.so here it is. 1. First time i used it, the cable jumped the spool. (Hand to take the winch apart) 2.Thumb switch has gone bad. ( ProMark shipping ASAP no charge) 3 Cable has a couple of bad places in it. ( I've used it alot) I WOULD BUY THIS WINCH ALL DAY LONG. I own a 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 550 E.P.S. and alway's wanted a winch for it. Looked at most other's. This one has way better feature's than any other winch out there. Take for instance the horsepower it has over other's. I was going to have a winch installed by my local Yamaha dealer. They wanted $500.00 for a winch installed. I'm glad I installed mine myself. Saved around $300.00 doing it myself. All you need to do is order the mounting plate for your quad. The rest is a cinch. My next purchase is going to be the pulling kit. And then a plow. All by ProMark where the price is right and the speed of the shipment is excellent. It only take's 3-day's to get to Pennsylvania. Very happy with ProMark. And I forgot to say. THE SHIPMENT IS FREE!!!

Installed it last week. Bought the atv specific mount (I would recommend this) which saved a bunch of time and custom fab. No complaints so far. seems to be a solid product

I ordered this winch to replace a 2500 on my 2004 Kodiak 400 . The price was great and I received the winch in 5 days but after spending 4 hours installing it the winch would not free spool at all . I called Promark and they told me to use the control and run the line all the way out and back in an this should solve my problem but it didnot so I called Promark back and they told me if the problem presisted I could send it back and they would send me a replacement . I thought I would give it one more chance so I when to my hunting lease and got in a bad spot and had to us it to pull myself out . I had to run the line out with the handlebar control and attached to a tree it started to pull while pulling several time quit pulling alltoghter and then started pulling again .When I got back home I called Promark and then they told me to return it and they would have it sent in for warrenty repair .I was very disapointed I pruchesed the winch new and call them the day it was installed and told them it was not working right and I would be willing to try to work with it a few times to see if the problem would correct itself and now they would repair it instead of just senting me a new one.This is my first experence with a Promak winch and my be my last .I read all the great reviews on Promark products and thought this would be a good winch for the price but a little disapointed they would not just send me a replacement instead of repairing the one I sent back . The first person I spoke with at Promark the day it was installed was very helpfull and promissed they would send me a replacement since I had the problem the day I installed it .I have been without a worikng winch on my 4 wheeler for three weeks and now it may be several more before I get it back .I just hope when I get it back it works like it is supposed to.Sorry to be a little ruff but I saved the money to purchased a new winch for my 4wheeler three weeks ago and still donot have one.

My winch broke one of the plastic couplers inside while plowing snow on Thursday. I called customer service to get replacement parts for my 3 year old Gorilla winch. They had a little trouble finding the part, but offered me a deal I couldn't refuse. A new winch was on my doorstep Saturday. Thanks to Promark and Chastity!
