Didn't realize the 2000 lb XT Series STV/UTV Winch would not hold a load.  I bought one for my JD Gator specifically to raise a 72" Bercomac snow blower.  Installed the winch and blower but when I raise it, it just goes down by itself.  I thought is was defective until I ready your  FAQs and learned I was just stupid!   Otherwise it works well. My only complaint was that the set screw holding the end of the cable to the winch drum was not tightened, so when I played out all the cable to do a tight wrap, the cable separated from the drum. No problem. I just stuck the end of the cable back in the hole and tightened the set screw.

What can I say its a great winch its got me out of some major mud; stuff where you think why did I even try this. I've ran it completely submerged in water and it still runs perfect. Its got a strong motor on it and keeps pulling and pulling you just have to give it gas while you are pulling so it goes faster. All around a great winch that will get you out of those sticky situations and keep you on the trail and the rest of your buddies asking for a tug.
