Price Value Quality Hopefully the winch holds up over time. I bought it because of all the other good reviews. Have been happy so far with the pull strength and features. I would recommend at this point.

Doesn't hold/lock position - motor unwinds after loading

Price Value Quality I use this winch to load a 1,800 vehicle. The first time I used it, there was way too much cable. It wrapped around the side of the spool rather than the middle because I had some one else running the winch, and they weren't watching. I had to take it apart to get it untangled. It was also wedged under the roller leads because there was too much cable on the spool, and it knotted up. I have since cut off the cable that I didn't need. When the vehicle is fully on the trailer, the motor does not lock into position like my other winch did. It lets the vehicle roll back, so I have to be inside the vehicle to put on the brake to hold it in position which again requires two people to do a one person job. I wish that I would have spent the money for the upgraded model, or bought one from a different manufacturer.

Price Value Quality this winch is amazing i reascently built a house and had bundles of plywood that weighed 3 tons i would anchor the atv with an 8 foot stake and hook the winch to the wood it pulled the wood with a little bit of a struggle but with almost twice the rated weight what do you expect. I also got stuck bad in a hole and i hooked it up to a 5 inch round pine and it cut it clean through. I love this winch

Quality Price Value I bought this winch after my warn went into the shop and they said it would be a few weeks, so i got this one to use for the time i didnt have my warn, ill put it this was, now i have a warn 2.5 sitting on the shelf in the garage as my backup winch. I love the power this winch has, never had a problem. It sounds kind of loud, and its not the fastest but its my favorite winch!
