Cons: no tensioner available so you'll occasionally get a rats nest if you're not careful. Pros: Pulls harder than my wife when she drags me to a shoe sale. Why not make your first winch purchase your last and buy this product! I bought it for my trailer as I recover antique vehicles that have been sitting in mudd for years with all tires seized. It gets them up and on my trailer in no time, just have to figure out how to anchor my truck and trailer better though. Most of the time it pulls the truck and trailer to the car instead of the other way around.

I have had mine for 5 months, and it is great. It works flawlessly. except for one outer plastic cover on the motor caught on fire. But it still works like a champ. and customer service was great and sent me the new part to fix it.

I just used my FJ Cruiser and winch to pull a chevy 1500 out of a four foot snow bank. He was stuck in the ditch and high centered in the snow. I ended up having another truck to hook to the back of my FJ to keep the winch from pulling me into the ditch. The winch pulled him right out of that ditch and I was impressed. Money well spent. Great Winch for a great price! Outstanding

This my first winch on my first Jeep, and I've had plenty of chances to use both without fail. Pros: I've used this winch to pull myself out of mud, up hills, and several other folks out some similar situations, with no hastle whatsoever. I highly recomend this winch looking for a very capable yet affordable winch DO NOT let the price fool you this is a great winch. And waterproof, very glad it had this feature, it has more than paid for itself. Cons: Very slow pull speed(who cares), wireless remote is cheaply made and has begun to function incorrectly. I would buy another, and would highly recomend!! (NUFSAID)

AWESOME WINCH!!!

I bought this winch not too long ago and mounted it on an 05 chevy silverado ext cab... let me tell ya, the winch got me on my way after gettin stuck in some really slick mud down hill... also, just two days ago I pulled out an 05 ford ext cab and an 08 tocoma 4 door... Although this is my 1st winch, I would extremely recommend it to anybody as far as quality, price, and durability... Since I got my winch, I'm never Scared to hit mud now by myself!!!!!!!!!!!

Saved my buddy $400

I have used this winch a few times. I have to admit that I am impressed. My buddy got his truck stuck in the mud trying to pull his dock up onto dry land for the winter. He was 40 miles from the nearest tow, so he called me. I winched him out in about 5 minutes and pulled his dock up in another 10 minutes. He still owes me a steak dinner. I would buy another one if this winch quit today. I have noticed some fluid seepage around the seals, but not major leaks.

Keeps the good times rolling.

Purchased the 10K winch about a year ago and installed on my Explorer Sport 4X4. I've never been stuck since my truck is extremely capable however have pulled many larger suv's and trucks out of deep sand in dry river beds and out of deep mud in not so dry river beds. The Gorilla is one bad ass winch. I would definitely recommend it. I've pulled a burried vehicle straight up and out from over 40 feet away no problems.

excellent deal

i recently bought your 10K pound winch and installed it on my 07 rubicon. i do a lot of serious mud riding in louisiana. i was running a warn 9K before this one a burnt the motor up in the warn but to be fair ive had the warn for near 3 years but still.$400 vs $1400 its an obvious choice. honestly you have sold me on your winches for as long as you continue to make them. just ordered a 3K for my brute force 750.
